By installing or using Bazar Trust Passport ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our App.

2. Description of Service

Bazar Trust Passport provides business verification services for Shopify merchants, including:

  • Identity verification processes
  • Blockchain-anchored verification records
  • Trust badge display on storefronts
  • Verification management dashboard

3. Eligibility

To use this App, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
  • Own or have authorization to act on behalf of the Shopify store
  • Provide accurate and complete information

4. Account Registration

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us of any unauthorized use
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

5. Verification Process

5.1 Information Requirements

You must provide truthful and accurate:

  • Business registration information
  • Contact details
  • Supporting documentation as requested

5.2 Verification Standards

We reserve the right to:

  • Request additional information
  • Reject applications that don't meet our standards
  • Revoke verification for fraudulent information
  • Update verification requirements

5.3 No Guarantee

Verification approval is at our sole discretion. Payment of fees does not guarantee approval.

6. Fees and Payment

6.1 Pricing

  • One-time verification fee: $29 USD
  • No recurring subscription charges
  • Prices subject to change with notice

6.2 Payment Processing

  • Payments processed through Shopify Billing API
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

6.3 Refund Policy

Refunds may be provided only if:

  • Technical errors prevent service delivery
  • Required by applicable law
  • At our sole discretion

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

We retain all rights to:

  • The App and its content
  • Trademarks, logos, and branding
  • Verification badges and designs
  • Technology and methodologies

7.2 License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your Shopify store.

7.3 Your Content

You grant us a license to use your business information solely for providing our services.

8. Blockchain Records

8.1 Permanent Nature

Blockchain verifications are permanent and cannot be deleted or modified.

8.2 Public Information

Blockchain records are publicly visible and may include:

  • Verification status
  • Timestamp
  • Store identifier (non-personal)

8.3 No Personal Data

We do not store personal information on the blockchain.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate another business
  • Use the service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to manipulate verification
  • Reverse engineer the App
  • Violate any applicable laws

10. Privacy

Your use of our App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our privacy practices.

11. Disclaimers

11.1 Service Availability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Verification does not constitute our endorsement of your business.

We are not responsible for third-party services including:

  • Shopify platform
  • Blockchain networks
  • Payment processors

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for lost profits or business interruption

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of any rights of third parties
  • Your business operations

14. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.

15. Termination

15.1 By You

You may terminate by uninstalling the App from your Shopify store.

15.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend access for:

  • Violation of Terms
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Non-payment
  • At our discretion with notice

15.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Access to the App ceases
  • Verification badges may be removed
  • Blockchain records remain permanent
  • No refunds will be provided

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

17.1 Informal Resolution

We will attempt to resolve disputes informally first.

17.2 Arbitration

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under JAMS rules.

17.3 Exceptions

Small claims court actions and injunctive relief are excluded from arbitration.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us.
