Security & Blockchain Technology

Your trust is our priority. Learn how we protect your data with enterprise-grade security and blockchain transparency.

Blockchain Architecture

How verification data flows from your store to the blockchain

1. Shopify Store

Merchant initiates verification request

2. Bazar API

Processes verification, validates documents

3. Hedera Blockchain

Immutable proof anchored permanently

4. Public Ledger

Anyone can verify authenticity independently

Why Hedera Blockchain?

We chose Hedera for its unmatched speed, security, and environmental sustainability.

Fast & Efficient

10,000+ transactions per second with 3-5 second finality

Secure & Immutable

Asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus mechanism

Eco-Friendly

Carbon-negative network with minimal energy consumption

Low Cost

$0.0001 per transaction — affordable for everyone

Hedera Services We Use

Consensus Service (HCS)

Provides immutable ordering and timestamping of verification events. Every verification is assigned a consensus timestamp that cannot be altered.

File Service (HFS)

Stores encrypted metadata securely on the distributed ledger. Documents and sensitive information are hashed, not stored directly.

Smart Contracts

Maintains a verification registry that tracks all merchant verifications and trust scores in a tamper-proof manner.

Data Privacy & Protection

We only store what's necessary on-chain, and we never expose personal information publicly.

What We Store On-Chain

  • Verification status (approved/pending/failed)
  • Cryptographic hash of verification proof
  • Timestamp of verification
  • Trust score (numerical value only)
  • Business name (public information only)

What We NEVER Store

  • Personal identification documents
  • Social security numbers or tax IDs
  • Bank account or payment information
  • Home addresses or phone numbers
  • Email addresses (stored securely off-chain)

Encryption & Access Control

Data at Rest

AES-256 encryption for all stored data

All sensitive data stored in our databases is encrypted using AES-256, the same standard used by banks and government agencies.

Data in Transit

TLS 1.3 for all network communications

All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and the blockchain uses TLS 1.3 encryption, ensuring end-to-end security.

Access Control

Role-based permissions and MFA

Multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit logging ensure only authorized personnel can access sensitive systems.

Audit Logs

Complete activity tracking and monitoring

Every action in our system is logged and monitored. We maintain comprehensive audit trails for all verification activities and data access.

Compliance & Certifications

We comply with international privacy and security standards.
